Tutankhamen Pappoe, MD

Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation with a subspecialty in pain medicine, Dr. Tutankhamen Pappoe specializes in spinal care, pain management and the treatment of sports injuries through functional and applied biomechanics, non-surgical orthopedics, postural restoration and the study of tri-planar motion.

Licensed in Arizona, California and New York, Dr. Pappoe earned his Bachelor of Science in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from the prestigious Yale University, where he competed as a track athlete, before continuing to the George Washington University School of Medicine to earn his medical degree. He received intern training at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and served as a research fellow with Kessler Sports Medicine Institute in preparation for his residency with the internationally-acclaimed Mount Sinai Hospital Center.

Dr. Pappoe is a current member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Physiatric Association of Sports, Spine and Occupational Rehabilitation, National Strength and Conditioning Association, North American Spine Society, International Spine Intervention Society and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Ramin Abbasian, MD

Dr. Abbasian is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist with fellowship training in interventional pain management in the prestigious University of Florida in Gainesville. His fellowship was completed in Phoenix, Arizona.  

He is trained in the latest modalities in treating chronic and acute pain.  Dr. Abbasian became interested in Pain Management while taking care of many patients who suffered from chronic pain over years of practicing medicine.  His personal connection with this common problem makes him especially compassionate in treating patients with pain.

Emily Tyler, DNP, ACNP

Emily, an Arizona native, started her healthcare career over 15 years ago. She began her career working in the Emergency Department and Trauma Centers, while she obtained her RN degree. After working on many mass casualty incident preparation drills and research projects in the emergency room, she became interested in furthering her education and went on to earn her Master’s Degree as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner through Grand Canyon University.

 

While in school, she was injured in an ATV accident which sparked her interest in interventional pain management. While working as a provider, she continued her pursuit in education, earning a Doctoral Degree in Nursing Practice from Grand Canyon University.

 

She now also works as a Professor in academia, educating nurses at the master’s level, who are also pursuing degrees as practitioners. She admits that she began as a provider in Pain Management to offer patients the same care and treatment that helped her during her recovering.

 

While not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Emily can often be found submerged in a good novel or doing yoga to remain active.

Kristen Lee, MS, PA-C

Licensed in Arizona, Kristen is a certified Physician Assistant who is currently working in pain management. Kristen completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from University of California, San Diego. Then she earned her Master of Science at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona.

 

Born in South Korea, she is a bilingual with basic Spanish skills. She is a current member of American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.

Khoa Pham, NP

Khoa Pham is a Family Nurse Practitioner. He graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Arizona State University. In 2016, Khoa received his MSN from the Grand Canyon University.

 

In the beginning of Khoa’s nursing career, he worked with the underserved population as an RN Supervisor at a crisis recovery unit. With a background in mental health, Khoa puts a strong emphasis on holistic health. Khoa enjoys educating patients on how to prevent injury, treating pain, and living with chronic pain.


When Khoa is not working, he loves spending time with his family – especially with his two dogs, Bae and Tae. Khoa is also a sports fanatic with a love for football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. He is a certified die-hard Cardinals fan.
