Tutankhamen Pappoe, MD

Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation with a subspecialty in pain medicine, Dr. Tutankhamen Pappoe specializes in spinal care, pain management and the treatment of sports injuries through functional and applied biomechanics, non-surgical orthopedics, postural restoration and the study of tri-planar motion.

Licensed in Arizona, California and New York, Dr. Pappoe earned his Bachelor of Science in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from the prestigious Yale University, where he competed as a track athlete, before continuing to the George Washington University School of Medicine to earn his medical degree. He received intern training at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and served as a research fellow with Kessler Sports Medicine Institute in preparation for his residency with the internationally-acclaimed Mount Sinai Hospital Center.

Dr. Pappoe is a current member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Physiatric Association of Sports, Spine and Occupational Rehabilitation, National Strength and Conditioning Association, North American Spine Society, International Spine Intervention Society and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Jesse Hatgis, DO

Dr. Jesse Hatgis completed his medical school training at the prestigious New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM). He then completed several post-graduate training programs through Nova Southeastern University/Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, FL, including a traditional rotating internship, physical medicine and rehabilitation/physiatry residency, and pain medicine fellowship.

He has authored and peer-reviewed numerous publications in various medical literature resources, specifically on sacral insufficiency and vertebral compression fractures, vertebral augmentation, original uses of Cortoss cement, Baastrup’s disease, percutaneous cervical discectomies, cauda equina syndrome, and innovative techniques for the usage of intraspinal radiofrequency ablation for the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis, facet cysts, and interspinous cysts.



Dr. Hatgis has given countless lectures and taught many workshops for medical students, residents, fellows, and attending physicians. He is a heavily involved member of the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AOCPMR), where he previously  held the positions of Course Director for the 2017 Mid-Year Meeting and Scientific Seminar and Resident Council President and Vice President. Currently, he is a member of the Pain Medicine Committee, Education Committee, and Member Needs Assessment Task Force.

He continues to further expand his medical knowledge and training by taking advanced courses and workshops while staying abreast of current advances in the fields of pain management and physiatry. As an osteopathic pain management physiatrist, Dr. Hatgis believes in a stepwise and whole body approach in treating painful and/or debilitating conditions. Non-invasive treatments are usually provided with the opportunity for improvement prior to the initiation of localized injection therapies or minimally invasive treatments. Dr. Hatgis believes in treating everyone with respect and properly teaching patients about their conditions and treatment options in an authentic manner. Dr. Hatgis is fully licensed to practice medicine in Arizona and Florida.

David Delatte, MD

Dr. Delatte completed his Anesthesiology Residency and Pain Medicine Fellowship at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He has been practicing in the east valley since 2015 and performs interventional procedures including spinal cord stimulation, kyphoplasty, epidurals and radiofrequency ablations.

He is board certified in Anesthesia with subspecialty certification in Pain Management. Dr. Delatte chose to become a doctor because he enjoyed learning physiology and pharmacology and applying this knowledge to patients in need. Moreover, the pain management specialty allows him to target the cause of a patient's pain instead of treating their symptoms.
